A familiar voice when family cannot be there
SnugStories began with a family need: give a child familiar stories during quiet time, travel, or nights when the usual reader is away.
A library made from your recordings
SnugStories keeps family recordings in one library. Open a story menu when you want to share it, rename it, change its artwork, or delete it.
- Build a library from stories your family records.
- Use artwork and large targets to help children choose a story.

Choose the playback controls
Decide which controls a listener can use. Repeat one story, move through a collection, or listen once.
- Hide editing controls during playback.
- Set repeat behavior and playback speed.
- Pair SnugStories with Apple's Guided Access for a focused device.

The files are AAC, JPEG, and JSON
Recordings, artwork, and story details remain available through normal device file sharing and export tools. SnugStories stores story images as JPEG files, audio as AAC, and descriptive information in metadata.json.

Stories for school rides, bedtime, and time apart
A parent away for work can record bedtime stories. Grandparents can share family favorites. Early readers can listen while following along. Families can make collections for school rides, quiet afternoons, or time apart.
